What have Mrs Mizen's class been up to?

We enjoyed 'visiting' lots of different countries in our 'Round the World' topic.' Now we are learning about the seaside .

Mrs Mizen and Class 1B would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Mrs Buffham for all her hard work in our class this year. We wish her all the very best for the future.

I would like to say thank you to all the children and parents who sent good wishes while I was unwell this year and also for the great welcome back I received in the classroom.It meant such a lot.

We have had lots of opportunities to work outside during the recent fine weather.

As part of our Religious Education programme this year we visited Christchurch in Downend where Tracey, the children's worker, explained to us all about the church and particularly about christening ceremonies. Afterwards we went to the park for some fun and we all enjoyed our picnics!

Class 1B have visited the Year 2  classrooms and spent time with their new teachers. Good Luck for next year!
