What have Mrs Walker's class been up to?

Hello everybody! Mrs Walker might be having fun with Year 6 in Devon, but so are we! Year 5 proved their dancing prowess in the Morning Dance. If you fancy a demo, simply put on some Lady Ga Ga and watch them go!

This week we have been learning more about 3D shapes, including how to build them from nets. Have a look at some of te shape that we made. Do you know what they are called? Can you find any cuboids?

SIT DOWN! LISTEN! Yes we are being very bossy in Year 5 this week, but it is all for a very good reason. In literacy we are learning to write super effective instructions, which includes using imperative (bossy) verbs. We had a go at writing the instructions for making a magnetic fish game on the PCs, which we then used to actually make the games. Next we are going to decide on the rules and then create the instructions that show other how to play.
