What a fabulous start to the new school year. We have already got ourselves into heated discussions about the state of the sea and they ways in which water companies are pumping sewage into the water by our beaches.Parents attending Parents evening at the end of term will get an opportunity to watch the video we made of our debates.

How clean are you hands?

With camp fast approaching, we spent part of the afternoon looking into hygiene - particularly hand hygiene. We rubbed special "bacteria" into our hands and then tested how good we really are at washing our hands. The Bacteria Box showes the real picture. In the light our hands looked fine, but look at them under the special UV light! Would you shake hands with that?

The Shape of things to come!

Maths has been about shapes this week - especially 3D shapes. Look at some of the shapes that we made in class. Michalina's dodecahedron was particularly tricky!
