Well, here we are back at school for the new academic year - it hardly seems a moment since we said goodbye to Year Six (what an amazing last few weeks they had!) and 'put the school to bed' for the summer.

But while you weren't here, some people were VERY busy over the holidays!

Mrs Fishlock, who not only does pupil admissions (a huge job in itself), and trips, also manages our building projects, and this holiday she and Mr John Williams our caretaker were busy supervising a transformation in the lower corridor of Key Stage Two (that's years 3 and 6)

We have carpet in the corridors!

We have paint (in toning colours) on the walls!

The classrooms have beautiful new carpets and furniture!

Years 3 and 6 are very happy - Thank you Mrs F & Mr W! But Years 4 and 5 are very, very jealous...

but it will be their turn soon, we promise.
